About
Pikeview Arts District is a hub for creativity and connection in southwest Denver, bringing local artists, residents, and visitors together through free, walkable, and bikeable art experiences. We provide free opportunities for local artists to showcase and sell their work through events, open studios, and community collaborations. Our mission is to make art accessible and celebrate creativity at every stage.
Founded in 2024 by Shokai Sinclair as an initiative to support local artists, Pikeview Arts District is inspired by the area’s stunning views of Pikes Peak and the Rocky Mountains. The district includes the neighborhoods of Ruby Hill, Mar Lee, Harvey Park, Harvey Park South, College View / South Platte, Bear Valley, Fort Logan, and Marston, each offering a distinct perspective on Denver’s cultural landscape.
Our cornerstone event, the Southwest Denver Artist Open Studios, highlights local creativity by opening doors to artist studios, community spaces, and public venues. These free, family-friendly events connect residents with artists, encourage exploration of our walkable and bikeable neighborhoods, and foster community pride.
We’re committed to inclusion, offering opportunities for artists from all backgrounds to showcase their work and for residents to experience art that reflects their stories. From emerging creators to established professionals, we provide the resources and support needed to grow, connect, and thrive in southwest Denver.
